Sawtooth Customs provides experienced craftsmanship to homeowners and local businesses to fulfill any project vision. We meet with you individually to understand your finishing needs, whether it is installing new trim or cabinetry or building that rustic modern coffee table you have been envisioning for your living room.

Sawtooth Customs was founded by Kurtis Nelson in 2019. Kurtis brings more than 20 years of experience to your project. This began in his youth alongside his father building custom homes and working in his woodshop. He went on to pursue a bachelor’s of science degree in construction management, working on large scale corporate projects including the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City.

Kurtis has since pivoted his interest in construction to private niche projects, varying in scale from custom furniture to home renovation. Sawtooth Customs was born out of this passion for fine craftsmanship and individualized design.
